Data processing addendum

Roles

You are the controller of your account. Media Yard LLC is a processor for account and shop metadata only: email, shop name, Place ID, script, and generate timestamps.

We are not a processor of end-customer phone numbers or review bodies. v1 does not collect those.

What we process

Usage metadata only: a Maps URL or Place ID you pasted, the generated write-review link, shop name and script if you save, your account email, and generate timestamps. We do not store customer phone lists. We do not send SMS. We do not write reviews.

We store the shop profile so you can copy the link again, send magic-link logins, and keep billing state. We do not post to Google. We do not train on this data.

Subprocessors

  • Vercel — hosts the app
  • Stripe — payments, if you pay
  • Resend — email, if a magic link is mailed
  • Google LLC — only if a Places lookup key is configured later

Security and breach

We use TLS and limit access to people who run Askforstars. If we learn of a personal-data breach, we will notify you without undue delay and, where required, within 72 hours of becoming aware.

UK GDPR and EU GDPR

Where those laws apply, we process only on your documented instructions in these pages, keep records, and help with deletion or export of the shop record on request to hello@askforstars.com.

When you cancel, we stop using the shop record for the live product and delete or anonymize it after a short hold, unless the law says we must keep a piece.
